Old question. How long is it taking to get receipt notice from Vermont for an H1 transfer? If anyone can share his/her experience, I will appreciate. My attroney is located in VA.

Hi ,
I filed for i-485 ON July 23rd along with the EAD and AP. My EAD got approved and got a RFE on AP. I haven't received my Finger Print notice yet. Will RFE on AP affect the FP?..
Is it normal that I haven't FP notice after almost closed to a month after the checks have been encashed?..
Any inputs are highly appreciated.

Hi All,
My employer after too much of talks is ready to file. But in all the applications he wants to put his address so that he receives the EAD card and AP..He is not ready to put my address. Can he keep my EAD card ?

All this inventory etc dosent make sense ,
Pending EB2 cases for china are around 2000 as per USCIS inventory .
but as per DOS Demand data its only 500 ..
God Knows whats Happening .

EB2 is reduced 11K+ in 4 months and EB3 4K+.
can you post the numbers for CY-2006 and CY-2007 for India and China.
that will give us an idea how the volume moved.

You can apply for a new H1 and will not abe counted against the cap. That is what it mean by cap exempt.

1)My I 94 expires in 2 months.I don't want to extend H1 and I want to use EAD.So how can I extend my I94 if I start using EAD?
2)I finished 4yrs of stay on H1B. If I don't extend H1B now and start using EAD, if by any reason my 485 denies in future, can I switch back to my H1B and work for the remaining 2yrs on H1B?
Just start using your EAD and if you have an Advance Parole use that next time you enter the country from a trip abroad and you will get a new I-94.

My 6 years H1B visa term is expiring on Apr 30th 2008. My company filed 3 years of extension on approved I140 basis, which is still pending as of Apr 30th 2008. And my I 94 is dated till Apr 30th 2008.
I filed my I 485 in June 2007 and got EAD and AP
1) What will be my status after Apr 30 2008. Will I still be on H1 status, if not what will be my status.
And what is 'H1 pending for 240 days rule'.
